Description of training
Effective collaboration with suppliers is the foundation of an efficient supply chain and company success. The Supplier Selection and Audit training course enables participants to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions in the supplier selection process and conduct professional audits. The programme focuses on key aspects such as defining supplier requirements, analysing bids, assessing quality, cost and risk, and monitoring supplier performance using tools such as checklists or KPIs.
The training programme also includes practical tools such as audit checklists, KPIs and audit reports., which will help participants in their daily work with suppliers. Participants will also learn how to identify and manage supplier risks, implement corrective actions as a result of audits and build long-term relationships with suppliers based on trust and cooperation.
The training also provides an understanding of the legal basis for working with suppliers, including key contractual provisions and the legal consequences of non-performance.
The training will also include practical sessions that will enable participants to apply the knowledge they have gained to real business situations, which will help them to be better prepared to work with suppliers and carry out audits in their organisation.

Discuss the key stages of supplier selection - from reviewing purchasing procedures, defining requirements and criteria (quality, price, timeliness, innovation), to the request for proposal (RFI/RFQ/RFP) process and vetting the new supplier.
Learning how to evaluate offers using the right criteria, how to negotiate terms and conditions and how to prepare framework agreements.
Presentation of the objectives and types of audits (preliminary, interim, control, capacity audit) and preparatory tools (checklists, audit plan, audit forms).
Assessment of suppliers' compliance with requirements (product quality, management systems, legislation), ABCD classification and discussion of audit as part of the contract and legal consequences of non-compliance.

The final choice of location depends on the geographical mix of registered participants. Most often, the final location is announced 30 days before the open training date.
