Description of training
In response to changes in the law and the growing need to improve knowledge and skills related to sustainable supply chains, we have prepared a programme that will focus on: „Socially Responsible Purchasing. Effective implementation and enforcement of ESG policies in purchasing processes”.” .
In a lecture and workshop format, we will discuss and work through issues relating directly to sustainable purchasing, with a focus on risk analysis and monitoring of KPIs in the area of Procurement ESG (e.g. carbon footprint, CBAM, compliance).
Participants will master the following after the training:
- How to plan and implement an organisation's sustainable purchasing (ESG) programme?
- How do you communicate with suppliers to achieve quick results that give clear and measurable financial, environmental and social benefits to the organisation?
- How to systematically develop your ESG programme over time using the tools and techniques presented in the training?
- How do you structure your own organisation and procurement documents to maximise your chances of success, what challenges can you expect and how best to deal with them?
- How do you manage your own suppliers from a sustainability point of view and how do you work with them to build a supply chain on an ecological and ethical basis?
- What tools and software on the subject of sustainable purchasing are available to increase purchasing productivity?
- How to assess and mitigate risk in a complex supply chain?
- How do you create a sustainable procurement programme that is supported by senior management, customers, suppliers and stakeholders?
We give purchasing a sense of empowerment in terms of compliance, so that ESG is not just a regulatory burden like previous initiatives like REACH, conflict minerals....
