Description of training
The training course Effective Negotiations for Legal Counsels and Mediators is a practical online workshop conducted from a GREEN BOX studio, implemented in the edutainment formula, combining substantive knowledge with an engaging form of delivery. The training programme responds to the challenges posed by the complexity of legal cases and the need to communicate effectively with clients and negotiating parties at the preparation stage and in the talks themselves.
Participants learn the Eveneum Negotiation Compass Method, which provides a starting point for informed and structured preparation for negotiations. The training discusses tools such as the negotiation map and the negotiation matrix to prepare for negotiations regardless of their nature, whether based on family, criminal or commercial law.
An important part of the training is the issue of building the negotiator's authority and the use of effective negotiating techniques that support both negotiations focused on long-term cooperation and negotiations of a positional nature. Participants also learn to recognise different negotiating styles, arising from the personality and professional experience of the other party, and to adapt their own way of negotiating accordingly.
The training also addresses the topic of recognising an impending impasse and methods for breaking it, as well as the role of legal support in negotiations, which allows to better secure the interests of clients and more effectively conduct the negotiation process. The whole course is geared towards the practical application of the tools and techniques discussed in the daily work of legal advisers and mediators.
