Description of training
Participants in the Incoterms 2020 training course will have a unique opportunity to improve their competence in the exchange of goods in international trade. This training will provide an in-depth knowledge of the latest Incoterms 2020 rules, enabling them to better manage risks and improve operational efficiency. Participants will learn about the obligations, costs and risks associated with the different Incoterms terms, enabling them to optimise their logistics processes. Through the knowledge gained:
- negotiate contract terms more effectively
- increase the security of transactions
- build better business relationships
The training includes a detailed discussion of the relationship between the Incoterms 2020 rules and the sales contract, including the scope of the parties' liability, concepts such as delivery, ownership and risk, as well as the role of the carrier, liability limits and cargo insurance. Participants will learn all 11 Incoterms 2020 rules with practical examples of their application, the differences between the rules for sea transport and other modes of transport and the most common mistakes made when applying them. The training is practical and includes tools to support buyer and seller decisions, work on case studies, a concluding discussion and a question and answer session.

Incoterms 2020 in relation to the sales contract, what they regulate and what they do not. Basic concepts: delivery, ownership and risk. The role of the carrier, limits of liability and additional cargo insurance.
Analysis and discussion of all 11 Incoterms 2020 rules with changes from the 2010 version and examples of practical application. Distinction of rules for all modes of transport and sea transport.
Work with simplified decision-making diagrams for buyer and seller. Case study carried out in groups, selection of the correct Incoterms 2020 rule in practical buying and selling situations.

Jakub Grzybowski is an experienced specialist in supply chain management and digital transformation. He built his professional experience, among others, as Business Process Architect at GE HealthCare. Before that as Digital Transformation Expert at Motorola Solutions, where he streamlined supply chain processes. For more than seven years he worked at Cisco as Supply Chain Operations Manager, managing global logistics operations. At Delphi, he held various roles, including EMEA Supply Chain Optimisation Supervisor. He holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Cracow University of Economics and a postgraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Warsaw School of Economics.
