Machine learning in logistics and procurement of logistics services

Da Vinci Studio is a technological partner in the development of the environment Eveneum Strategic Sourcing Application [ESSA].. In parallel, Da Vinci Studio is working on other projects in the area of supply chain management. Congratulations to Wojtek and Michal for securing an investor for a project based on machine learning.

Project for a million: Vinci Rithms

Automatic enquiry analysis for the transport industry is a new project by software house Da Vinci Studio, based on machine learning. The company has received funding of one million zloty for this purpose - the investor and mentor of the project is the Czysta3.vc fund.

Project genesis

Thanks to their many years of experience working with clients in the transport industry, the DVS (Da Vinci Studio) management duo of Wojciech Bachta and Michał Polak, learning about the processes, problems and challenges of freight forwarding, created the basis for building a larger tool, a system for the automatic analysis of enquiries using machine learning.

Support for the development of the project was provided by the Czysta3.vc fund, which decided to invest in a new project by the ambitious Da Vinci Studio team. Thus, the software house was injected with PLN 1 million and got the green light to start work on a project based on machine learning - Vinci Rithms. The fund is keen to support projects in the area of machine learning and artificial intelligence. They have an incredible potential for development, and thanks to our experience and knowledge in this area, we can support companies in such a way as to help them develop their business," says Szymon Janiak, managing director of Czysta3.vc.For many years we have been working with companies in the transport industry and we noticed that the biggest problem is the time spent analysing and writing back offer emails. We asked ourselves - how can we help customers and streamline this process? The answer came quickly: through automation, whereby the answer to the message would be prepared by... a computer programme," says Wojciech Bachta, CEO of the software house.

The renaissance of automation

The software is based on automated analysis of enquiries and uses machine learning algorithms. It is a solution to the problem of the large number of enquiries made to companies. How does it work? The tool is based on machine learning, which will efficiently and automatically analyse emails flowing to companies in the Polish transport industry, which is quite specific and broad, and then extract specific parameters for further stages of the process.

Partner and mentor - Czysta3.VC

- We approached the Czysta3.VC fund with our idea and quickly found common ground with them. Thanks to their support, our project took shape and we received funding to realise our vision. We are developing as people, as a company, but we also want to develop more in the area of machine learning and artificial intelligence, which is the future of many industries,' says Michal Polak, CEO of DVS.Machine learning already supports the operation of many systems and programmes, thus providing new opportunities to build market advantage. Introducing the tool to industries that respond to dozens of offer emails on a daily basis is certainly a breakthrough, which will improve the operation of any business. As a software house, our goal is invariably to do projects that allow companies to gain a competitive advantage or simply survive by moving processes to digital. We enjoy working with startups and creating new innovative solutions," adds Wojciech Bachta.

Young and ambitious

Da Vinci Studio is a young team with work in many areas: machine learning, web and mobile applications, as well as e-commerce, shipping and transport and e-learning. The creative and passionate team is managed by the two founders, Wojciech Bachta and Michal Polak, who have been successfully delivering software and innovative solutions for companies and startups for years, winning numerous awards and accolades for their projects. In recent weeks, Da Vinci Studio has undergone a transformation not only in terms of a change of CEO. Da Vinci Studio changed its ownership structure - Maciej Felski left the board and his shares were taken over by Bachta and Polak. The software house has also undergone a strong, image-driven rebranding, alluding to Renaissance, which links their visions of changing technology and supporting clients at every stage of their evolution.

The future of business

Vinci Rithms is a tool that provides a basis for the development of further projects operating through intelligent analyses of offers, not only in the area of forwarding. The evolution of artificial intelligence and its implementation in core areas of companies' operations provides a great opportunity to expand the activities of many areas and branches of the economy and business. The project from Da Vinci Studio and Czysta3.vc w is the first step into the future.
