Lectures that left a lasting impression

The Negotiation and Mediation Tournament for Business is not only an exciting competition – it is also an opportunity to inspire participants with the stories of our exceptional guests.

This year, Ania Gawlikowska and Henryk Filak shared their valuable insights and experiences with the participants, enriching the Tournament with inspiring presentations.

We thank Ania and Henryk for sharing their knowledge and delivering fascinating presentations that added exceptional value to our event.

Ania Gawlikowska from Leaders Island opened the discussion with her insightful presentation titled "Personal Values as a Determinant of Negotiation Strategy." Her lecture highlighted how crucial our internal values are in the process of making negotiation decisions.

Meanwhile, Henryk Filak from KAM Project encouraged participants to take a deeper look at the 80/20 rule in his presentation titled "The Alluring Charm of the 80/20 Principle." His analysis helped to understand how to effectively apply this principle in business practice, as well as the common misconceptions that can accompany it.

The uniqueness of the sixth edition

This year's edition of the Tournament was exceptional – for the first time, negotiations were conducted in English. While this presented an additional challenge, all participants handled it excellently, demonstrating their flexibility and preparation. It is worth highlighting that grammar and language fluency were not assessed – the focus was primarily on the substance and negotiation strategy.
